Flash is making a comeback

Flash Catalyst
It seems that Flash is making a comeback. With adobe releasing a beta testing of their new program Flash Catalyst and Flash Builder, this could mean that Flash is not going to be taken down. You may ask yourself, when did Flash fell?
With the new hype of Web 2.0 many have steered away from Flash. They all have a very good reason. With the reappearance of Ajax and the new tools that were being developed for it, it seemed that Flash was getting weaker. Now you no longer had to wait for pre-loaders to load up your page, or having the trouble of updating your page and having to update movies (although XML makes that very simple if you know what you’re doing.)
Also that Flash was not SEO Friendly and who doesn’t love SEO!? *Jerks~* So people had to go that extra mile to make sure that their flash sites were available in all the search engines.
Another area that was given a lot of “slashing”, among other horrible words was the fact that doing stuff in flash was so hard. And if you used a Component! HA! Don’t get me started on that. Taking your component and making it work on Flash so that it would look good and not be obvios that it was taken from flash.
Well. That is NO more! Flash Catalist was build for designers. Basically you can turn Photoshop File and make it an amazing Flash Application with Flex elements on it. WAO! Excellent! Now make a couple of animations on the background and other nice stylish things and you got yourself an AMAZING (low size) Flash Movie! (or Flash AIR Application)
Or if you are more like me, say a developer Geek! 8D There is Flash Builder. Which lets you do all the development things you could do in Flash! *sudden silence* Ok, so maybe I need a bit more info on that.
I really haven’t been able to get my hands on them and try them out! However, from the articles I’ve read in NetTuts and GotoAndLearn.com the program sure looks great and is going to be a great asset for someone in my industry.
